Extra time and care is always taken to carefully conceal cables.
The above pictures are of a Video doorbell powered via a mechanical chime. As you can see the cable was carefully routed inside the upvc frame and into the adjacent garage. I then came back entry from the garage to the hall where the doorbell chime was fitted.
Even though users are notified via their smart phones when the video doorbell is pressed, the internal chime gives additional sound. The chime is a good addition as some members of the household may not have a smartphone. Also in the event of the users smartphone having a flat battery, they are still notified via the mechanical chime.
